Thiabendazole is a highly efficient, broad-spectrum, systemic fungicide with protective and therapeutic effects, inhibiting the respiration and cell proliferation of bacteria. It has good control effect on diseases caused by Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, and Deuteromycetes. It is ineffective against Oomycetes and Zygomycetes. Mainly used for post-harvest fruit and vegetable processing.

1.Fruit soaking treatment

Tangerine

After picking the fruit, soak the fruit in 1000~1500 mg/L liquid medicine for 0.5~1 min, take it out and dry it to prevent green mold and penicillium.

Sweet orange

After harvesting, use 800 mg/L thiabendazole liquid and 200 mg/L 2,4-D to impregnate the fruit. After the fruit surface is dry, it is packed in a small polyethylene film bag, and the bag is tightened and stored at room temperature. After 132 days of storage, the good fruit rate is 95.3%, and after 188 days of storage, the good fruit rate is 89%, which can reduce the rot rate of sweet oranges without affecting the fruit quality.

Banana

Soak bananas in 600-1000 mg/L liquid for 1-3 min, take them out to dry, and then pack them in boxes, which has a good control effect on diseases that occur during storage.

Mango

After the mangoes are harvested, 1000~2500 mg/L thiabendazole liquid is used to impregnate the fruit, which can improve the storage rate.

Litchi

After picking the fruit, soak the fruit in an ice-water solution containing 1000 mg/L thiabendazole for 3 min, then drain it at low temperature, and seal it in a film bag for low-temperature storage. ” and other varieties of lychees storability.

Plum

After fruit picking, the fruit was soaked in 5% calcium chloride and 350 mg/L thiabendazole aqueous solution for 30 min, and pretreated with 2% starch + 2% monoglyceride + 6 g/L potassium sorbate composite coating solution Coat the film at 55~60℃, and store after drying. Compared with the untreated plums, the storage period at room temperature was prolonged by 6 days, and the rate of nutrient change was slowed down.

2.Spray treatment

Potato

After harvesting, spray the potato tubers with 2%~4% thiabendazole liquid (the dosage of active ingredients is about 40 g/t), and store them in polyethylene plastic film bags after drying, which can effectively control storage diseases.

Chinese cabbage

After harvesting, use thiabendazole liquid with an active ingredient content of 500-600 mg/L to spray from the top, drain after spraying, and increase air circulation in the first month, air-dry the outer layer of cabbage at a temperature of It can be stored for 9 months under the conditions of 0~1℃ and 90% relative humidity.

Vegetable

Spraying with 360~600 mg/L Thiabendazole liquid before harvest can control vegetable sclerotinia, botrytis, spot sick.

Mushroom

Mixing ingredients according to 1:(1250~2500) (medicine ratio), or spraying with water at 0.5~0.75 g / m2, can prevent brown rot.

①When thiabendazole is processed, it is necessary to strengthen the stirring to make the concentration of the liquid medicine uniform.

②The combination of thiabendazole and 2.4-D can increase the efficacy.

③ The excess liquid medicine after soaking the fruit should be properly disposed of, so as not to pollute the pond and water source.

④ Thiabendazole is harmful in long-term contact with the skin, and should be cleaned in time after application.
