Chrysanthemum Dendranthema mori folium
【1】Promote rooting of cuttings
Indolebutyric acid
Chrysanthemums are usually propagated by cuttings. Indole butyric acid can induce the formation of root primordium, promote cell division and expansion, and promote the formation of adventitious roots in plant cuttings. Select good seed plants with normal growth, and collect the budding twigs as cutting materials. The cuttings are required to grow robustly, with medium thickness, about 8cm long, and the overall shape is “2 leaves and 1 heart” (two functional leaves and one growth point). When the cuttings were treated with indole butyric acid alone, the rooting effect of 500 mg/L was the best.
Naphthalene acetic acid
The principle that naphthalene acetic acid promotes the rooting of cuttings is because it can promote the dedifferentiation of parenchyma cells at the base of cuttings, restore the ability of cells to divide, generate callus, and grow adventitious roots. 1000~2000mg/L naphthalene acetic acid solution treated the tender stems and rooting effect of chrysanthemum, among which 1500mg/L naphthalene acetic acid solution had the best rooting effect on stem segments and foot buds. In addition, when chrysanthemum is used as cuttings with tender stems, it is best to use naphthalene acetic acid powder, and the effect is best when the concentration is 2000 mg/L.
Naphthalene Acetic Acid (Sodium) and Indole Butyric Acid
Both indole butyric acid and naphthalene acetic acid (sodium) can promote rooting of cuttings. Indole butyric acid can promote both root elongation and root number, while naphthalene acetic acid (sodium) mainly increases root length. The effect of promoting the increase of root number is not obvious, and the interaction between the two is obvious when they are used at the same time. The best combination for promoting rooting was 100 mg/LIBA+500 mg/L NAA and 500 mg/L IBA+100 mg/L NAA.
【2】Plant type control
During the process of chrysanthemums from cuttings and seedlings, transplanting to pots and buds blooming, problems such as leggy plants, shedding of feet and leaves, and poor plant shapes often occur due to excessive irrigation or poor management, which affect the viewing effect. The use of paclobutrazol, niconazole and bijiu to spray the leaves of chrysanthemum has the effect of controlling the growth of chrysanthemum plant height. As a result, chrysanthemums grow short and strong, with hard stalks, large flowers and beautiful plant shapes.
Paclobutrazol
In the early stage of growth, the whole plant was sprayed with 150mg/L paclobutrazol, and sprayed once every 10 to 15 days according to the growth. When 5, 7 and 9 multi-headed chrysanthemums are topped, when the lateral branches of the plants germinate, spray the above solution in time to keep the plant shape neat and tidy. Depending on the growth of the plants, spray once every 15 days or so until the buds are transparent. After the desk chrysanthemum cuttings survived, spray with the above-mentioned paclobutrazol solution once, and spray once every 10 days after planting in the pot, until the buds bloom and become transparent. In the process of making miniature potted single-headed chrysanthemums, dwarfing treatment can be performed before cuttings. Generally, 10-15d before cuttings, 1000mg/L paclobutrazol liquid is used to spray the growth points and leaves of the mother chrysanthemum. Then, during the growth period, after stabilizing the seedlings in pots, spray the leaves and the growth tips of the chrysanthemum with 1000mg/L paclobutrazol liquid, once every 15-20 days, and spray 1-2 times. After the marigold seedlings are potted, irrigating the roots with 2.5-10mg/L uniconazole or paclobutrazol liquid can significantly shorten the internode distance, reduce the plant height, make the leaves green and thick, and increase the number of flowers. During the growth period of potted aster, spraying with 50-100 mg/L paclobutrazol can make the plants dwarf and increase the ornamental value.
Daminozide
To inhibit the growth of chrysanthemum with Daminozide, it should be sprayed once every 10 days from the 10th day after planting, for a total of 4 sprays, and the spraying concentration is 150 mg/L. After treatment, it can promote the shortening of chrysanthemum internodes, make the stem short and strong, make the tall and thin plant compact, and the whole plant has a good posture. The plant height of aster can be effectively controlled by treatment with 0.3% Daminozide solution. 28 to 35 weeks after sowing and budding stage of potted Calendula officinalis, 1000mg/L Daminozide liquid can be sprayed twice, the ideal height can be obtained by reducing the length of pedicels and internodes, and it has a significant effect on flowering time. In order to control the leggy stems and leaves of cineraria cultivated in the greenhouse, 130mg/L Daminozide solution or 200mg/L chlorophyll water solution can be used to irrigate the roots, water once every 15 days, and stop after budding, which can make the plants dwarf. Stout, blooming neatly. After cosmos and marigold were sprayed with 0.3%-0.5% Daminozide liquid on the leaves, the plants were obviously shortened and the ornamental value was improved.
Uniconazole
The chrysanthemum plants treated with uniconazole were significantly dwarfed; the leaves became shorter and narrower; the chlorophyll content increased; the flowering period was delayed and the flowering period was prolonged, which improved the ornamental value of the chrysanthemum. The dwarfing effect was enhanced with the increase of uniconazole concentration. Concentrations above 100mg/L could significantly dwarf dwarfing; concentrations above 200mg/L also had a significant inhibitory effect on leaf extension.
【3】Adjust the flowering period
Uniconazole
After the chrysanthemum was treated with 50~600mg/L uniconazole, the budding stage was generally delayed by 3~8d, the full blooming stage was delayed by 7~16d, and the flowering period was prolonged by 5~14d compared with the control.
Gibberellic acid
Appropriate concentration of gibberellic acid spraying can promote the early flowering of chrysanthemum, shorten the flowering period and increase the plant height. Gibberellic acid was added to water at the dosage of 0.01 mg/plant to the growing point of chrysanthemum which was not sensitive to photoperiod and needed cold treatment, which could induce its bolting and flowering. When the diameter of potted cineraria chrysanthemum buds is 4-5mm, the spraying concentration of 500-1000mg/L gibberellic acid can significantly speed up the opening of the top buds; when the buds of chrysanthemums have just developed color and have not faded, spray 100-200mg/L gibberellic acid Acid (lightly sprayed, uneven spraying will cause deformed flowers) has obvious effect on early flowering; spraying 700mg/L gibberellic acid every 10d from mid-September to before budding can increase the number of small flowers and improve the POD and CAT of chrysanthemum petals It can delay the time when the activity of POD and CAT reaches the maximum value, so as to achieve the purpose of prolonging the flowering period of chrysanthemum.
Ethephon
Foliar spraying with different concentrations of ethephon had a significant regulating effect on the flowering time of autumn chrysanthemum under short-day conditions. Among them, the application of 50mg/L ethephon solution in autumn and winter chrysanthemum cultivation has a good effect on delaying the first flowering time, but the high concentration may cause the chrysanthemum to fail to flower.
【4】Preservation of cut flowers
Daminozide
24-56d after chrysanthemum buds, spraying 2.5% Daminozide can prolong the life of cut flowers by 5d.
Penicillin
Spraying penicillin before harvesting chrysanthemum can significantly prolong the vase life of cut flowers. Among them, the concentration of 400 mg/L had the best effect, with an average of 18 days, and the color of the petals was also brighter.
6-BA
5% sucrose + 8-hydroxyquinoline (50mg/L) decacitric acid (150mg/L) + 6-BA (10mg/L) can significantly prolong the lifespan of fresh cut chrysanthemum flowers, significantly improve the moisture status of cut flowers, and improve flower quality.
Chlormequat Chloride
Treating aster with 60g/L sucrose + 250mg/L 8-hydroxyquinoline citrate + 70mg/L chameleon + 50mg/L silver nitrate as the preservation solution can prolong the life of bottle insertion by 3 times.
