Chlormequat Chloride CCC

Before the new shoots grow vigorously, spraying 100~200 mg/L chameleon can inhibit the growth of new shoots, increase the yield of chestnut and improve the quality of chestnut.

【2】Control gender differentiation

Gibberellic acid

Treatment with 50-100 mg/L gibberellic acid could significantly increase the female flower differentiation rate of chestnut and decrease the ratio of male flower to feminization.

6-BA

Treatment with 100 mg/L 6-BA could significantly increase the differentiation rate of chestnut female flowers and reduce the ratio of male and female flowers.

Forchlorfenuron

Treating chestnut seedlings with 1 mg/L chlorfenuron + 1000 mg/L paclobutrazol not only significantly increased flower bud differentiation and the number of female flower clusters, but also promoted 40% of seedlings to flower and bear fruit at least 1 year earlier than the control.

Penicillin

After chestnut germination, the use of 100-150 mg/L penicillin can improve the ammonia metabolism level and photosynthetic intensity of the tree, and significantly promote the differentiation of female flowers and the thickening of new shoots.

Ethephon

Ethephon has the effect of promoting androgen at low concentration and inhibiting male flower at high concentration. At 50 mg/L, it can significantly increase male flower clusters, and at 100 mg/L and 200 mg/L, it can significantly inhibit male flowers.

【3】Control the empty bud

Naphthalene acetic acid and indole acetic acid

Aged chestnuts were sprayed with a mixture of 10 mg/L naphthalene acetic acid and 10 mg/L indole acetic acid, which could reduce the hollow bud phenomenon of chestnuts and increase the thousand-grain weight and yield per plant of chestnuts.
