Gibberellic acid 4+7

GA4 pure product is white crystalline powder or white prismatic crystalline powder, with a melting point of 214~215°C. Ga7 pure product is acicular crystal with melting point of 169~172°C. The finished product is a mixture of GA4 and ga7 –ga4+7 (ga4:ga7=40:60), with a melting point of 198- 202°C. It is stable in dry state and relatively stable in weak acidic solution. In case of alkali, it is easy to change its structure and even lose its biological activity.

[11] Functional features

Ga4+7 is a biochemical pesticide, which is a mixture of two gibberellic acids. It has an obvious effect on the elongation of plant fruit cells. At present, it is mainly used in fruit plants, which can improve its quality and yield.

[12] Applied Technology

Apple  Apples are spray with 12.5~25mg/L solution alone or with 22.5~30mg/L benzylaminopurine in full bloom and young fruit after flowering. Evenly spray the whole plant. It is used to adjust the fruit shape of “Red Star” apple. It is used from full bloom to the end of full bloom. Spray the front of the flower with semi atomization to make the liquid evenly distributed on the style. Spray once for each flower, and do not spray repeatedly. It can significantly improve apple fruit shape index, improve fruit setting rate and increase yield.

Pear  Use 10~12.5mg/l ga4+7 compounded with 10~12.5mg/L GA3 to smear the middle part of the fruit stalk within 20~30 days after the petals fall off. You can also apply it to the middle part of the fruit stalk at the same time after fruit thinning. Each fruit is treated with about 20mg ointment mixture.

Cucumber  Cucumber is sprayed with 18~20mg/L ga4+7 (mixed with benzylaminopurine 1:1) on the leaf surface 1 day before flowering, at full flowering stage and at young fruit stage. Pay attention to the uniformity of spray when using.

“Jufeng” grape  “Jufeng” grape was soaked with 50mg/L ga4+7 for one time before the first flower and 10 days after full flower, It can make “Jufeng” grape fruit more than 95% seedless, the single fruit weight of seedless fruit is more than 7g, the soluble solid content is increased by 2% compared with the control, and the fruit ripens 10 days earlier, but the total amino acid content decreases slightly. The stronger the growth of new shoots of the treated ears, the better the effect of seedless and early ripening; Spray or dip the ear with 25mg/l ga4+7 one day before anthesis, and use 25mg/L ga3+20mg/L clopidourea at full bloom, which can increase the fruit setting rate to 123.1%.

“Jingya” grape  “Jingya” grapes were sprayed or dipped with 12.5mg/L ga4+7 on the first day before flowering, and 25mg/L ga3+20mg/L clopidourea was used in combination with full bloom, and the seedless rate could reach 100%.

Citrus, litchi and longan   Citrus, litchi and longan are spray with 2.5~5mg/L solution (mixed with brassinolide 0.01~0.02mg/L) at the initial flowering or young fruit stage, focusing on the flower and fruit parts, which can strengthen flowers and protect fruits.

[13] Precautions

① Choose the appropriate concentration according to different varieties.

② After storage, the technical drug should be placed in a low-temperature and dry place, with special attention to prevent high temperature.

③ When using, it is generally used alone. It should not be mixed with copper agents and alkaline fertilizers. It should be mixed with slightly acidic (amino acid) foliar fertilizers. Please do a small-scale test first, and then apply it after confirming its safety.
